Upcoming fundraising events to support Help for Haiti

Lana Jefferson Taussig - Monday, February 08, 2010
Along with the hundreds of people who have donated first aid and hygiene supplies toward PROJECT C.U.R.E.'s Help for Haiti efforts, several individuals, companies, and groups have stepped forward to help cover the organization's expenses in delivering materials to the Caribbean nation. Many of them have been featured in previous blog posts.

Two additional events are on the schedule for this week, and more are set to come for the rest of February.

Tonight, Denver's Rioja restaurant will host a six-course gourmet dinner paired with wine, to be prepared by Rioja's chef and those from five other restaurants in town. Tickets are $125, which will be donated in full to PROJECT C.U.R.E. to assist with Help for Haiti efforts.

Due to the popularity of the participating restaurants and Denver residents' desire to help with Haiti relief efforts, this event is sold out. To be placed on a waiting list, call 303.820.2282.

PROJECT C.U.R.E. thanks all participants for their support of its work in Haiti.

Tomorrow at Root Down, another of Denver's outstanding gourmet restaurants, customers can contribute to PROJECT C.U.R.E.'s Help for Haiti program.

Ten percent of proceeds will go to PROJECT C.U.R.E.

Reservations are strongly encouraged and can be made by calling 303-993-4200.

Thanks to Root Down and its staff for its generous support!
