Dr. Douglas Jackson currently serves as the President of PROJECT C.U.R.E., a registered trademark of the Benevolent Healthcare Foundation. Each year, PROJECT C.U.R.E. delivers millions of dollars of donated medical relief into developing nations around the world. Since 1987, PROJECT C.U.R.E. has delivered equipment and supplies to incredibly needy people in more than 120 countries.

Douglas Jackson graduated magna cum laude from Northwest Nazarene University in 1982, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. In 1985, he earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado at Boulder, receiving the American Jurisprudence Award for Excellence in the study of law. Following his admission to practice as an attorney, Douglas administered the legal affairs for the international agricultural firm of CTB, Inc., a Berkshire Hathaway company in Milford, Indiana. In 1992, he was awarded a PhD in Business Administration with an emphasis in finance and econometrics from the University of Colorado at Boulder, authoring a dissertation on leveraged buyouts and secondary public offerings. Douglas is a member of the Alpha Delta Sigma and the Beta Gamma Sigma national honor societies.
In addition to his academic credentials, Dr. Jackson has experience in both the legal and business professions, working as a law clerk in Denver, a judge's clerk in Boise, Idaho, a Deputy Clerk of the District Court and an assistant to the County Court Administrator in Jefferson County, Colorado. He has researched, authored articles and consulted in the areas of finance, real estate and small business. For nearly 15 years, Dr. Jackson taught at the university level in the disciplines of finance, investments and legal issues.
Dr. Jackson is a Rotary International Paul Harris Fellow, and the past president of the Denver Rotary Club #31. He is a director of the Institute for International Education which administers Fulbright Scholarships, and a director of Denver based Leader’s Challenge. He is a member of the National Who’s Who, Registry #57689, and a graduate of leadership program LEAD San Diego. Past service as director includes HOPE International, Christian Executive Officers, YMCA, and the Leadership Denver Association. He also holds the title of Elder Emeritus at Cherry Hills Community Church. Dr. Jackson received the Lifetime Achievement Award in Healthcare from the American Red Cross and the Civis Princeps award from Regis University. He also accepted the Colorado Ethics in Business Award on behalf of the team at PROJECT C.U.R.E. Douglas is the son of Chief Uzoma of Nkume of Nigeria, an honor bestowed on his father for PROJECT C.U.R.E.’s work in Africa.
George Roberge brings a wealth of experience to PROJECT C.U.R.E. in the transportation and logistics industry. Immediately prior to joining PROJECT C.U.R.E., George was the president of Westway Express, a $70 million, 540-employee truckload carrier based in Commerce City, Colorado. He positioned the company for sale to Dick Simon Trucking, a firm five times the size of Westway Express.
Previously he held the position of president of SLT Express, senior vice president of Operations of Nationsway Transport and vice president of special services at St. Johnsbury Trucking Company in Holliston, Massachusetts.
George holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. George directs all of the operations for PROJECT C.U.R.E. including the collection, warehousing, processing and transportation of the medical supplies and equipment.

Betsy Boudreau is the Vice President of Fund Development at Project C.U.R.E. where she leads and directs the organization's fundraising efforts, including individual, major and planned giving. Prior to joining Project C.U.R.E., Boudreau served as the executive director of Seeds of Hope; executive director at Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic; and director of network development at Rocky Mountain PBS. She is a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow and recipient of numerous national awards for her fundraising expertise including the PBS National Award for Excellence Corporate and Foundation Support. Boudreau has a master's degree in cultural administration and a bachelor's degree in English with a minor in art history from the University of Denver. |
