HEALTH & HOPE
Project C.U.R.E. takes volunteer medical professionals to the poorest regions of developing nations. At C.U.R.E. Clinics, these doctors and nurses provide free medical services and encounter everything from malnutrition to malaria, pregnancy complications to broken bones. ?I went to help them but ended up remembering why I became a doctor in the first place? is a common refrain following a C.U.R.E. Clinic.
As a member of a C.U.R.E. Clinic, you may treat people who have never seen a physician before. You may encounter conditions you?ve only read about in medical textbooks. When the Clinic is over, you won?t just leave behind the training, education and extra supplies, but you?ll likely leave a small part of yourself.

TRIED & TRUE
Each relief mission averages 10 days to 2 weeks. You?ll travel with a team of 8 to 12 other medical professionals and a C.U.R.E. Clinic Team Leader. At the International Headquarters Office, the C.U.R.E. Clinic Coordinator attends to every logistic for you, including all planning and information before your departure, travel and lodging, meals, entry visa and permit requirements. Project C.U.R.E. even provides C.U.R.E. Kits packed with supplies and medications for all C.U.R.E. Clinic participants.
Most Clinic teams arrive as invited guests of the national and regional government, working with contacts and relationships already established by our staff. Project C.U.R.E. organizes multiple C.U.R.E. Clinics each year, offering a variety of destinations to visit. Past Clinics have served needy people living in places like rural Bolivia, northern Ethiopia and eastern China. Regardless of the name of the city or village, C.U.R.E. Clinics change lives!
WELL & GOOD
These kinds of exotic locations offer an opportunity to see some of the world?s most incredible places, and most C.U.R.E. Clinics include a day or two of relaxation before returning to our busy culture. Additionally, medical professionals who attend C.U.R.E. Clinics generally qualify for CME credits. As a team member, the only thing asked of you is your presence and a tax-deductible donation to cover your expenses.
The rewards extend far beyond your investment of education or finances ? and can be unexpected:
- Seeing extraordinary examples of human strength under poverty and illness
- Practicing medicine in its purest form
- Gaining more personally from your experience than the medical treatment you give your C.U.R.E. Clinic patients
- Caring for the medically under-served
- Personally making a difference in hundreds of lives by Delivering Health & Hope to the World.
