READY, WILLING & ABLE
The logistics involved in delivering millions of dollars of medical aid require
enormous people power. That’s why we enlist the C.U.R.E. Corps, our team of
volunteers that has grown from just a handful in 1987 to an army of thousands across
the nation. The Corps members offer their time, talents and resources in a variety
of ways to ensure our operations are highly efficient and low cost.
Members include individuals, families, civic and church groups, retired
executives and college students, nurses, doctors and even people without any
medical background. They share compassion for people around the world who
desperately need medical attention – a passion for Project C.U.R.E.'s mission.
ABOVE & BEYOND
Members of the C.U.R.E. Corps serve in a variety of functions. Some contact
doctors and hospitals, requesting donations on behalf of Project C.U.R.E. Others
collect donations in trucks or volunteer as C.U.R.E. Couriers to gather supplies
in their SUV’s and mini-vans.
Once the supplies and equipment are gathered in the warehouse, C.U.R.E. Corps
members sort the vast number of items among 150 different inventory categories.
The C.U.R.E. Corps packs the inventory into boxes and loads the supplies into
semi-truck-sized overseas cargo containers. There is no shortage of things to do,
and Project C.U.R.E. is always on the lookout for people to join the C.U.R.E. Corps.
Through the great work of the C.U.R.E. Corps, Project C.U.R.E. is able to deliver
millions of dollars of medical supplies and equipment to the people who need it most.
