Aubrey joined Project C.U.R.E. after recently moving to Denver from Asheville, NC. She brings over 13 years of social work experience at nonprofit organizations, with a focus in serving under-resourced communities, the deaf population, and later managing a therapeutic intervention program for a young man with autism. She received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of North Carolina Asheville and later became a certified yoga instructor. Aubrey spent much of the past 10 years traveling the world experiencing new cultures and the integral connection all humans share. After seeing such vast global health inequalities and social injustice, Aubrey made it her goal to help others on an international level. Adept at planning international trips and organizing systems, Aubrey steps into the role of Clinics Coordinator with a determination to create C.U.R.E. Clinics trips that will positively affect both the volunteers providing healthcare and their patients.
In her free time, Aubrey enjoys practicing yoga, gardening, volunteering as a climate advocate with Citizens’ Climate Lobby, and hiking with her husband in the beautiful Rocky Mountains.
