Denver KryderDirector of Operations - Houston
Following a successful and extensive career in the healthcare industry as a sales and business management executive, Denver joined Project C.U.R.E. in January 2022. Prior to accepting the Director of Operations appointment in our Houston Distribution Center, Denver was a regular C.U.R.E. volunteer supporting the Houston operations team.
Denver spent the majority of his three-decade background with major public medical technology manufacturers including Siemens and Fuji Medical Systems, where he led diagnostic imaging teams in several regions around the country, and was accountable for ensuring that their productivity and collective results met board and shareholder expectations. Later, while with a private healthcare I.T. firm he enhanced product brand and expanded sales opportunities into the Middle East and Germany.
Having spent his life’s work associated with for-profit organizations who routinely deliver breakthrough health innovations and high-end equipment to those with the opportunity and means to afford it, Denver is elated to pivot professionally into the non-profit sector. He is eager to share his knowledge, experience and passion to ensure equitable access to care as a member of a non-profit that takes on one of the world’s biggest challenges — serving and supporting the marginalized and under-resourced countries and people in the world.
Denver and his wife Nancy live in The Woodlands, Texas and have two children — their son is a Development Engineer with an orthopedic technology company in Austin, Texas, and their daughter is a Cyber-Security Engineer with an e-Commerce company in San Antonio, Texas. Denver holds volunteer leadership positions both at his church and in his community; enjoys playing golf and hitting the lake or the ocean riding his jet skis; and loves traveling domestically and internationally with Nancy. Denver grew up in western Pennsylvania and is a proud Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He received a bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Supply-Chain Management from Penn State.
