About the Côte d’Ivoire Trip
Join Project C.U.R.E. this May when we return to Cote d’ Ivoire! Côte d’Ivoire is rich with a diversity of equally colorful cultures and warm people.
From North to South, from East to West you will discover customs and traditions enriched over time. Project C.U.R.E. partners with Redemption in Action to facilitate a rewarding C.U.R.E. Clinic in Côte d’Ivoire. Redemption in Action is a non-denominational organization with the premise to “bring back what has been lost to the country.” Aimed to be a bridge, their focus is to reach out to rural clinics in desperate need and bring about lasting changes in local healthcare communities throughout Côte d’Ivoire. While working with Project C.U.R.E. you will provide primary healthcare, women’s health and community health education to people living in and around Aby, a hillside community in the southeastern Ivory Coast. We hope you will join us as we deliver health and hope to the people of Côte d’Ivoire!
We are looking for non-medical and all types of medical professionals! This is a great opportunity for physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, optometrists, paramedics, and EMT’s to make a difference!

Côte d’Ivoire’s history is rich and complicated. Sitting on the West African coast, Côte d’Ivoire is bordered by Ghana, Burkina Faso, Mali, Guinea and Liberia. Côte d’Ivoire has a population of 23.7 million with many different ethnic groups. The religion of the country is mixed between Islam and Christianity. Not much is known of ancient Côte d’Ivoire history as almost all of it was passed down in oral tradition.
