Travel to Ghana with Project C.U.R.E. October 4-14, 2024
Join our team in October 2024 as we travel to Ghana!
Its Ghana’s warm-hearted people that make this country such a friendly place in West Africa. With its natural beauty, vibrant clothing prints, flavorful dishes, serene beaches, and handcrafted arts, we keep coming back for more. This medical trip will focus on providing primary care in communities.
During this trip, we will work collaboratively with local staff seeing patients and exchanging best practices.

In Ghana, the primary causes of preventable deaths in children under five years are malaria, malnutrition, diarrhea, and acute respiratory infections (ARI). With the current gross domestic product (GDP) estimated as US$390 per capita, Ghana faces economic challenges, which are reflected in Ghana’s poor state of health.
We are looking for non-medical and medical professionals.
This clinic will provide health services that cover a range of prevention, wellness, diagnosis, and treatment for common illnesses. Physicians, dentists, nurse practitioners, nurses and physician assistants are all in high demand. We are also always looking for physical therapists and ophthalmologists.
If you are interested in this trip and want to know if your skill set matches the need, please e-mail [email protected]

About Ghana
Ghana, officially the Republic of Ghana, is a country in West Africa. It abuts the Gulf of Guinea and the Atlantic Ocean to the south, sharing borders with Ivory Coast in the west, Burkina Faso in the north, and Togo in the east. It is known for its lush forests, diverse animal life, and miles of sandy beaches along a picturesque coast. Ghana is rich in cultural traditions, including vibrant art, dance and music. Ghana boasts an array of different ethnic groups each with their own unique cultural traditions and practices. While you will always find ethnic cuisine when travelling to a different nation, there is frequently an overlap of ingredients between those and the foods you are used to at home. However, there are several cuisines in Ghana that will be new to you, such as the root-based dishes fu-fu, banku, and kenkey.
Come with us to explore Ghana and learn about different cultures while making an impact in the lives of others.
