This trip will be focused on providing primary health care. We will be working in a small community in Northeast India. This part of the country is known for its ethnic and cultural diversity, with each state home to distinct tribes and communities, each with its own languages, customs, and traditions.
We are looking for medical and non-medical professionals.
This clinic will provide health services that cover a range of prevention, wellness, diagnosis, and treatment for common illnesses. Physicians, dentists, nurse practitioners, nurses, physician assistants, physical therapists and ophthalmologists are always in high demand!
Non-medical volunteers are also so important during our medical clinics and will be assigned to a variety of roles, such as logistics, crowd organization, scribe, and helping in the pharmacy. Non-medical positions fill up quickly, so apply today!
Time is built into the itinerary for cultural experiences. This may look like spending time with the locals drinking tea and a structured visits to the Taj Mahal or the Red Fort.
