Karla J. Prentiss
Before joining Project C.U.R.E, Karla served 18 years with Centura Health, a large hospital system in Colorado. Having served in their Global Health Initiatives, Karla strategically implemented multi-million dollar grant funded initiatives focused on neonatal mortality reduction in a global setting. She brings with her more than 15 years of fundraising and development experience. Her passion is global health. She has traveled in service all over the world. Her experience supports her passion as an advocate for health equity and health access for underserved populations. Karla is a member of the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy and is a state-certified Colorado Emergency Medical Technician. In 2016, CFRE International named Karla a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE). She has one son, Tyler, who is a global health project coordinator in Detroit, MI.
