Peru Flood Response Fund: Send Critical Healthcare Supplies to Peru

Matching Funds From Newmont Mining

When disaster strikes, Project C.U.R.E. and its partner Newmont Mining, respond with critical healthcare supplies to help medical professionals treat patients. Project C.U.R.E. and Newmont Mining have established a Peru Flood Response Fund to accept donations to provide critical donated medical supplies and equipment support to flood victims in Peru. The devastating floods have created a state of emergency in Peru and according to news reports have already claimed the lives of more than 70 people. The rain in Peru, which is expected to continue for the next few weeks, has caused rivers to overflow, created landslides cutting off many in Peru’s northern coastal villages, and left thousands of people homeless.

Project C.U.R.E. is working with Newmont to identify critical needs and provide aid in the areas hit hardest by the floods. Donations will help us provide items such as antiseptic wipes, cleansing cloths, C.U.R.E. Kits and water purification kits. During this critical time, please consider a tax-deductible financial donation to Project C.U.R.E. so that we can deliver health and hope to those that need it the most in Peru. Newmont Mining will match donations dollar-for-dollar up to $12,000. Please help us reach this goal.
