About Project C.U.R.E. | Franciscan Mission Warehouse
For over 25 years, Sister Andrea Kantner and the Sisters of St. Francis of the Holy Eucharist, a Catholic order located in Independence, Missouri, operated the Franciscan Mission Warehouse. The Sisters, along with a few volunteers, ran a ministry that has saved lives around the world. The Franciscan Mission Warehouse was an ongoing commitment to the poor and disadvantaged through a distribution program of medical equipment and supplies given with love and in the spirit of Saint Francis.
In 2020, the Sisters sought out an organization to partner with, and found a match made in heaven with Project C.U.R.E. The mission and values of the two organizations were in alignment, and the affiliation allowed the Sisters to preserve their the history and the legacy of the Franciscan Mission Warehouse, while sustaining the work of the ministry into the future.
