C.U.R.E. Clinic to Nepal – Join Us on a Life-Changing Medical Mission!

We are excited to announce our upcoming C.U.R.E. Clinic to Nepal in partnership with Helping Hands Health Education. This mission will take place from January 15th to January 29th, 2026, in the heart of the eastern Himalayas, serving the community of Tumlingtar. Nestled in the breathtaking landscape of the Himalayas, this immersive experience will not only provide critical healthcare support but also offer a journey through Nepal’s hidden treasures.

PARTICIPANT APPLICATION

What to Expect

During the clinic, you will spend a full week providing essential medical care to patients in the remote community of Tumlingtar. We will be working side by side with local healthcare workers at Manakamana Hospital, supporting their efforts to deliver healthcare in a region with limited resources. Through this collaboration, you’ll play a key role in helping improve future healthcare initiatives in the area.

Expect cold weather due to the high elevation of this site. Our team will be working inside a hospital but expect an average high of 40 degrees outside. Prepare to be at high altitude, staying hydrated to avoid altitude sickness. Note that several mountain roads are curvy so volunteers with motion sickness should prepare accordingly.

We Need YOU!

We are seeking a dedicated team of 15 medical volunteers to provide much-needed care to this region. The following medical professionals are encouraged to apply:

  • General Providers (MDs, DOs, PAs, NPs)
  • OB/GYN’s
  • Physical Therapists
  • Optometrists
  • Nurses
  • Paramedics & EMTs
  • Pharmacists & Pharmacy Technicians
  • Non-Medical Volunteers
  • Data Collection Volunteers

This is a unique opportunity to use your skills in a meaningful way, supporting a community with limited access to healthcare.

An Immersive Cultural Experience:

In addition to the medical work, the team will have the opportunity to visit Bhotkhola, where you’ll embark on scenic hikes and meet the Tibetan tribes living in this remote region. This will be a chance to witness and engage with local culture, deepening the meaningful connections made during the trip. We will also have time in Kathmandu, where you can explore the vibrant capital, visit historical landmarks, and experience the rich cultural heritage of Nepal before or after our time in Tumlingtar.

Important Considerations:

Please note that the journey will take you through high altitudes and rugged terrain. If you are prone to travel sickness or altitude sensitivity, we encourage you to prepare accordingly.
