Make an Impact in Guatemala: Join Our 2027 Clinic Team!

Join us on our first 2027 Guatemala Clinic trip to San Lucas Tolimán, Guatemala from Saturday, September 18 – Saturday, September 25, 2027.

This C.U.R.E. Clinic will focus on providing essential primary care while working side-by-side with local healthcare professionals at Hospital Obras Sociales de Gregorio Schaffer in partnership with Friends of San Lucas.

This community on the shores of Lake Atitlán has a rich cultural history and offers a meaningful opportunity to provide care while also learning from Guatemalan colleagues and the patients we serve.

We welcome a variety of healthcare professionals including family or internal medicine physicians, OB/GYNs, pediatricians, pharmacists, nurses, EMTs/paramedics, mid-level providers, physical therapists, and occupational therapists.

Our Clinic Model

Project C.U.R.E. Clinics are designed to support and extend existing local healthcare services—not replace them. Clinics are embedded within and anchored to local facilities to ensure care is appropriate, respectful, and sustainable.

Project C.U.R.E. Clinics aim to:

  • Provide high‑quality, short‑term episodic care
  • Support the catchment populations of partner health facilities
  • Strengthen community trust in local healthcare systems
  • Facilitate mutual knowledge exchange between visiting and local providers
