A scraped knee or small cut is an injury many of us rarely think twice about; we can just grab a band-aid and go. But for many children around the world, these minor injuries can go untreated without accessible resources, turning simple wounds into serious health risks.
The Kits Program at Project C.U.R.E. is committed to changing this reality with Kits for Kids: small first-aid kits aimed at providing basic first-aid items to families and children. The items in the kit, including wound care items and basic hygiene items, are essential in preventing infection from minor injuries.
Project C.U.R.E. volunteers make these kits possible. We are calling on compassionate, driven individuals to join Kits for Kids in helping families access these essential resources.
Kits for Kids are easy to pack, making kit packing a great opportunity to engage community members through events. Kits for Kids events take place with community members and corporate volunteers. Volunteers often pack kits in large quantities, increasing the number we can ship out on containers. These events cannot take place without the help of volunteers.
It is essential for Kits for Kids events to run smoothly to ensure that kits are packed with the correct items and that community members are enjoying their time. It is also important to quality-check these items to ensure that children across the world receive only the best quality items.
