A Grassroots Story
Ours is a grassroots story. Project C.U.R.E. wasn’t born from a mandate or a commission. There was no study or report. My family was not qualified to enter into the arena of international healthcare. We simply responded to a need and brought all of our energies to bear on saving lives and changing the world on behalf of others who simply don’t have a second chance.
Today, we operate huge distribution warehouses in six major cities across the U.S. as well as a network of smaller collection centers across other states where donated items are gathered and then delivered to our warehouses. With the help and generosity of our partners and volunteers, we deliver more donated medical supplies and equipment to under-developed regions than any other organization in the world.
Although many years have passed since our inception, our passion for serving others is unabated. Yet, we tread lightly and will not enter a community without an invitation. We exist to help local healthcare professionals—not to displace them.
Today, our work and mission are more important than ever, helping to bridge staggering health resource gaps in the developing world by empowering doctors and nurses with the tools they need to treat disease, deliver vaccines, perform life-changing surgeries and ensure safe childbirth. Through the compassion of Project C.U.R.E.’s supporters, hospitals, rural clinics and community health centers all over the world are able to offer quality care and critical medical services to their most vulnerable patients, especially women and young children. And thanks to the dedication of thousands of volunteers nationwide, three to four cargo containers of life-saving aid leave Project C.U.R.E.’s warehouses every week.
Project C.U.R.E will continue to provide an avenue for others to join in service and volunteerism—it is at the core of our value system. And every morning when we wake up, we are renewed with the vision that a small dedicated group of individuals can change the world.
We hope that you will become a part of that future and help us in this humble mission to impact the future for those who deserve a second chance.
