Project C.U.R.E. was founded in a Colorado garage in 1987 and has grown to become a vital part of the mile-high community and economy. We’ve also become the world’s largest distributor of donated medical supplies, equipment, and international medical relief services to doctors and nurses in more than 135 countries. This is no easy feat. The only way we can make it happen is through the help and support of those also willing to get involved.
We were delighted to welcome members of the Consulate General of Ecuador—Houston, including Consul General Luis Espinosa Salas, for a special visit to our PC Houston warehouse. We had the opportunity to tour the facility, explore our operations, and engage in meaningful dialogue about our shared efforts to advance development and humanitarian initiatives around the world.
It was inspiring to connect with the Consulate on how our work aligns and complements their mission to serve the Ecuadorian community in Houston and beyond. Executive Director – Houston
Erin Kemp is the Executive Director of Project C.U.R.E. Houston, where she leads fundraising and development to connect donors and partners with the mission of delivering lifesaving medical supplies to communities around the world.
With over 10 years in nonprofit development, Erin has built her career at the intersection of health, human services, and community impact. She got her start in development with Mercy Ships, an international medical relief organization, before going on to serve as Chief Development Officer at Meals on Wheels. Throughout her career, she has led fundraising events, cultivated major donors and corporate partnerships, strengthened board engagement, and built development programs focused on driving sustainable, unrestricted support for the organizations she serves.
Erin holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from San Diego State University and is an alumna of Alpha Phi. Her personal commitment to service runs alongside her professional one. She serves as a court-appointed Child Advocate (CASA), and as a mother and one of seven sisters, she understands the difference that access to care and resources can make for a family. That belief drives her work at Project C.U.R.E., where every container shipped puts lifesaving medical equipment and supplies into the hands of communities that need them most.
