Travel with a purpose to Uganda in June 2025!

Join our team from June 4 – 17, 2025, as we travel to Uganda! This C.U.R.E. Clinic will focus on providing primary care that covers a range of prevention, wellness, diagnosis, and treatment for common illnesses in communities. Additionally, this trip will provide general surgery.

We are looking for non-medical and medical professionals

For the C.U.R.E. Clinic team size is 16. We need:

Physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants (3-4)
general surgeon (1)
anesthesiologist (1)
physical therapists (1-2)
nurses, emergency medical technicians, or paramedics (4-5)
non-medical (3)

Clinic Itinerary

We will fly to Entebbe, Uganda and stay one night. We will travel to Christ Care Medical Centre (CCMC) Lira. Based in Lira City West division in the outskirts of the city, CCMC Lira now serves over 15,000 patients from Lira City, Lira District, and other surrounding districts of Kole, Otuke, Oyam, Kwania, Amolatar, Dokolo, and Kaberamaido. Christ Care Medical Centre is dedicated to offering health care services that are welcoming, accessible, safe, and respectful for everyone. Our team will work side by side with CCMC staff for five days to provide primary care and side by side in general surgery.

After working and serving at CCMC, the team will spend two nights at Murchison Falls. This park is home to different wildlife species including 451 bird species and over 76 types of mammals including buffaloes, lions, giraffes, hyenas, and warthogs, among others.

About the Program Cost

Your tax-deductible donation to participate in a Project C.U.R.E. Clinics Trip to Uganda is $2,700. The program cost covers all accommodation, meals, clean water, and transportation once in-country, including internal airfare, buses/cars/taxies, fuel costs, drivers, tips, and boats/ferries (when applicable). Program costs also include the coverage of interpreters, medications, C.U.R.E. Kits, Kits for Kids, medical travel and evacuation insurance, Safe Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) with the State Department, and medical license transfer procedures, Project C.U.R.E. scrub set and T-shirt, and all associated shipping costs. Additionally, tour guides and small touristic excursions and activities are included.

International airfare, visa fees and vaccinations are NOT included in the program cost. Please note alcohol, internet access, laundry, and personal souvenirs are not covered in the program cost.
