Young Professionals Network

Young and dynamic leaders supporting Project C.U.R.E.

Project C.U.R.E.’s Young Professionals Network is a formal association of emerging leaders committed to advancing their professional and civic development while cementing their place among community leadership by supporting Project C.U.R.E. in its mission.  The Young Professionals Network is uniquely positioned in various metro area’s as an organization that combines the responsibilities of philanthropy fashioned after traditional nonprofit boards of directors, with opportunities to deepen their existing professional and leadership skills. Members of the Young Professionals Network are tasked with spearheading fundraising activities, coordinating volunteer projects, networking with other globally conscious professionals, raising awareness of Project C.U.R.E.’s work among their networks and the broader business community, and taking their leadership skills and competencies to new heights.

Mission: We will deliver health and hope to the world by recruiting capable, passionate and high-performing young professionals and developing them into globally-minded future leaders; by forming strong strategic partnershps and connections with the public and private sectors; and through focused community building and engagement.

Vision: We will change the world by giving all people access to adequate healthcare, one shipment of medical supplies at a time.

Values: Service. Inclusion. Community. Collaboration. Passion. Accountability. Commitment.

The Young Professionals Network helps further Project C.U.R.E's mission in a myriad of impactful ways. Highlights of these accomplishments include:
  • Industry Partnerships. The Young Professional Network's outreach endeavors have resulted in a several fruitful parnerships with leading medical device companies. These partnerships have fostered approximately $2 million in medical supplies and equipment this year alone in the form of product donations to Project C.U.R.E. These donations arrive at our warehouses in Phoenix, Denver, Houston, and Nashville and will help save countless lives in developing countries.
  • Poolside with a Purpose, a 320-attendee evening cocktail affair at the Four Seasons Hotel Denver, the proceeds of which helped enable Project C.U.R.E. to ship a 20-foot container holding over $221,000 of preventative medical supplies to Somalia.
  • High Rollers for Health & Hope, Project C.U.R.E.'s casino-themed, signature gala, for which the Young Professionals Board raised enough funds to ship nearly $350,000 in medical supplies and equipment overseas to under-equipped hospitals and clinics in desperate need.
  • Biomedical Collaborations. The Young Professionals Board has partnered with the Colorado BioScience Institute and local Biomedical Engineering Society university chapters to get biomedical engineers actively involved in leveraging their talents and resources to repair key life-saving medical equipment that can then be shipped overseas to hospitals and clinics that need it.
