Jan Mazotti is a collaborative professional with more than 20 years of experience in operations management, program development, project management, outside sales, financial research and corporate finance, relationship management, nonprofit management, editing, writing, and media development. She is a skilled communicator experienced in building strategic alliances, fundraising, program development, and project leadership. She uses her skills as the Director of Communications, Marketing and Public Relations at Project C.U.R.E., the world’s largest distributor of donated medical supplies to resource-limited communities across the globe.
Jan is the former President and Editor-in-Chief of ICOSA Media, a full-service media company that shared collaboratively-based stories and highlighted the “connectors” within those stories who were making a difference. Through passionate voices and challenging viewpoints, ICOSA created an open forum among a global community to generate and share ideas and dreams, and to make a difference in the world around us. Jan is formally a nationally syndicated radio talk show host for ICOSA’s Connect & Collaborate radio, a show focused on what drives today’s leaders. Additionally, Jan served as the Director of Business Development for CAP Worldwide, a Denver-based multi-modal transportation company providing world-class, customer-driven logistics solutions and project management support for heavy industries and manufacturing, where she was responsible for identifying international business opportunities for the company. She also served as the corporate liaison on international trade missions and coordinated the humanitarian aid that the company distributed into developing regions. She was also the Executive Director of the Colorado Business Roundtable where she worked with C-level participants to make Colorado a better place for business, education, and philanthropy.
Jan is an active member of the community in local, as well as, international spheres. Appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce, Jan is the Chair of the Rocky Mountain District Export Council, an organization that contributes leadership and international trade expertise to complement the U.S. Commercial Service’s export promotion efforts through counseling businesses on the exporting process and conducting trade education and community outreach. She is also an active member of the Girl Scouts where she serves as a co-leader of two Troops. Furthermore, she serves on the Board of Directors for Adoption Options, a leading Colorado-based placement agency that unites families of all races, religions and orientations and that offers programs to benefit adoptive parents, birth parents, community partners and child welfare professionals, while facilitating adoptions of infants, older children, sibling groups, foster children and children with health and emotional challenges.
Internationally, Jan has served as a trade mission delegate and has participated in several social responsibility activities in South Africa, China, Romania, Poland, Hungary, Albania, Mongolia, Russia, Czech Republic, Haiti, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Pakistan, Jordan and Afghanistan. She has served on the Biennial of the Americas’ State Department Inquiry focused on women as drivers in the new economy, as well as on the outreach committee and was a media sponsor for the Biennial of the Americas 2010 and 2013, an international event celebrating the culture, ideas and people of the 35 nations of the Western Hemisphere.

Jan is a Colorado native who has a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Northern Colorado and a Master of Science Degree from the University of Denver. She lives in Centennial, Colorado with her husband and daughters.
